Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Selects RTIconnect to Control Food & Labor Costs
FSC Franchise Co. makes commitment to deploy RTIconnect Back Office software in its 220 franchised family sports pubs.
ATLANTA — FSC Franchise Co., franchisor for Beef ‘O’ Brady’s restaurants, has signed an agreement with RTI, Inc. to implement the RTIconnect™ Back Office system in all of its 220 franchised restaurants. The company is investing in the success of their franchisees by providing them with online tools to help them evaluate and improve both food and labor cost performance in their restaurants. “RTIconnect will give our franchisees the data and analytical tools necessary to control costs and improve profitability,” said Joe Uhl, Chief Operating Officer for the Tampa, Fla.,-based chain of family sports pubs.
“FSC believes that RTIconnect will not only help our partners with the day-to-day management of their food and labor costs but also provide more accurate and timely sales and sales mix data for both FSC and the franchisees,” he said. The software rollout to all franchisee restaurants will be completed within 12 months.
Prior to selecting RTI, FSC completed a pilot of RTIconnect which included integration of data from the Focus® POS system. Mr. Uhl said Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is in the process of standardizing the POS configuration throughout its restaurants and RTIconnect’s compatibility with their existing POS was a deciding factor.
“RTIconnect retrieves sales data from the franchisees’ existing POS systems,” he said. “Plus, RTIconnect will give our operators more insight into business profitability, provide automated ordering, give them better controls to measure and improve food and beverage cost, and improve their cash accountability. Not only does it give restaurant managers the information they need to make quick inventory and labor decisions, it also gives our corporate office an enterprise-level view of our restaurants’ operations.”
