Microsoft declares RTI a “Front
Runner”
RTI moves to leading-edge Microsoft SQL 2005 Server technology
to power its RTIconnect Back Office software.
(
RTIconnect,
a Web-enabled Back Office system designed to help Quick-Service restaurant
operators control food and labor cost controls, is currently used in over 1,600
restaurants in the United States, including many of the best-known names in the
industry: Arby’s, Bear Rock Café, Burger
King, Camille’s Sidewalk Café, Carl’s Jr., Cinnabon, Mrs. Winner’s, and
Wendy’s.
The
Front Runner initiative was established by Microsoft to support and reward
independent software vendors (ISV) who show a commitment to keeping their
software on the “cutting edge” by investing early in the latest Microsoft
technology. RTI is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner holding competencies in
ISV/Software Solutions and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions.
“Microsoft
has always been committed to the success of our broad ISV partner community and
will continue to rely heavily on that community to drive innovative solutions
to market,” stated Pradeep Rathinam, general manager, U.S. ISV Strategy,
Microsoft U.S. Partner Group. “The Front Runner program was designed to provide
our partners with the best development environment possible and give them the
technical and marketing tools they need to be successful over the long
term.”
RTI
moved its RTIconnect software to the Microsoft SQL Server™ 2005 platform
earlier this year. SQL Server 2005 delivers increased scalability and security
for the RTIconnect application, while allowing for more transparent and
proactive server management.
