Visual Scheduler

Use RTIconnect’s “Visual Scheduler” to easily create or change employee schedules. A powerful, dynamic tool, the Visual Scheduler can save you hours in scheduling each month, especially if you use its Auto Build or Load Prior options.

Auto Build Option: Select Auto Build to have the system create an “ideal” schedule based on job parameters, employee availability, and sales projections for the week. Just review it and make changes as needed.

Load Prior Option: Use the Load Prior option to put into place the schedule of the previous week, or of any selected week. Then you can either use the schedule as it is, or modify it.

The Visual Scheduler has two information grids. At the top is the Staffing Requirements Grid, which lists your staffing jobs required for this week and the required hours and employees needed to fill the jobs, based on the week’s projections. The Grid Total shows how many total employees you need, and the Schedule Total shows how many are currently assigned to work. The bottom grid is the actual Schedule, with employees on the left and shifts on the right.

Sales Trends and Projections

The sales trend may be created from any prior four-week time frame or alternately from any four specific dates (for special occasions such as July 4th or military paydays).
Sales projections may be in dollars per hour or transactions per hour.

Labor Staffing Jobs

Jobs are defined specifically by restaurant, permitting customized requirements for different restaurant configurations/venues/hours of operation.
Repetitive jobs can be defined to occur on a specific day of the week or month, or every so many days, weeks, or months. Variable labor can be defined for up to 100 different jobs.
Job “leveling” helps minimize the impact of short shifts.

Creation of Employee Shifts/Schedules

Breaks can be scheduled automatically.
Minimum/maximum shift parameters ensure the creation of shifts that meet your company goals.
The “Fixed Mgr & Crew Schedules” feature permits scheduling of managers and crew who work specific shifts each day.
RTIconnect accommodates 24-hour restaurants and post-closing tasks that are performed after midnight.
