Because RTIconnect is an enterprise solution, your hardware requirements are very minimal. By utilizing the processing power and storage capacity of RTI’s servers, you can eliminate many up-front IT costs for your organization.
And as your business grows, RTIconnect’s solution is completely scalable, growing with you. You can add locations as needed, and don’t have to worry about increasing your server or network capacity to handle the additional dataflow or processing.
Another benefit: No on-site backups at your restaurants or office are required! Your data is secure in RTI’s 24x7 Data Center.

- Minimum Requirements: Downstream 512K / Upstream 128K
- Recommended: Downstream 768K or higher / Upstream 256K or higher.
- Intel® processor 2GHz or faster
- 1GB RAM required, 2GB recommended

Any ONE of the following operating systems:**
- Windows® XP Professional SP2 (recommended)
- Windows® Vista Business or Enterprise editions (32-bit only)
- Windows® 2000 SP4
- Built-in firewalls for Windows XP or Windows Vista***
- McAfee VirusScan® or other anti-virus software with automatically updated virus definitions

- Remote Desktop (included in Windows XP and Vista)
- LogMeIn
- pcAnywhere
- VNC
- Microsoft® .NET framework v2.0 (included in Windows XP and Vista)
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
- Monitor resolution at 1024 x 768 pixels minimum
- InkJet or Laser printer
For product reliability and service, RTI strongly recommends that you purchase only name-brand computers instead of home-built or off-brand systems. Based on our experience, we prefer Dell® equipment and use Dell systems for all of our in-house hardware needs.
**Operating systems not expressly listed above, including variations of Windows XP (Home, Media, etc.) Or Windows Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, 64-bit, etc.) are NOT supported.
***If you choose to use a firewall other than Windows XP or Vista, please be sure that your administrator and/or IT person is able to respond to any connectivity issues that are related to the use of firewalls for your company.
