Prior to beginning these steps, contact RTI Client Services
at 800-937-1290 for the most current network workstation requirements for
mapping of network drive, memory, etc.
Below are the steps
for adding a new workstation to the network for RTI 2000 RFS and RMS
applications. BEFORE performing the
following steps, all users must be off the network.
1. Each workstation must be assigned a
unique 3-digit terminal number from 001 to 099 and must indicate the network
drive where RTI data and programs reside.

To determine the terminal numbers assigned to existing
workstations:
--go to either the Restaurant Financial
System or Restaurant Management
System Main Menu,
--select Utilities then select Technical Information,
--select System Information.
The terminal numbers and user names will display under Network Information.

To determine the network drive:
--go to either the Restaurant Financial
System or Restaurant Management
System Main Menu,
--select Utilities and then select Technical Information.
--If you are in RFS, select RFS Company
#XX Information.
--If you are in RMS, select RMS
Application Information.
Each application will be listed along with the program and data drive where
each are located.
2. Log in to the network on the new workstation.
3. Enter RTI 2000 on the new workstation. When prompted, enter the new terminal number for this workstation.
That completes the steps for
adding a workstation to the network.
